Garage openers offer easy access to thieves in Oklahoma City neighborhoods

A west Oklahoma City neighborhood was hit hard Thursday night by thieves who broke into cars to gain access to houses.Police went to at least eight homes near SW 15 and Morgan Road on Friday morning after homeowners reported car and house burglaries. In most of the reports, officers wrote that burglars forced their way into vehicles in front of homes so they could get to an automatic garage door opener.Master Sgt.
